Colson Castilla is a partner and co-founder of Ember Capital Partners (“ECP”). Colson & his team serve as consultants, partners, and sponsors in several ventures spanning the real estate space. ECP provides underwriting, capital advisory, deal sourcing, and asset management services for clients through its subsidiary companies – Ember Advisory Services, Ember Asset Management, and Ember Capital Advisory.

Colson began his career supporting a nationwide team of multifamily loan originators for PGIM Real Estate Finance as a financial analyst where he would underwrite over $5B in transactions. Following his interests, he soon accepted a role in asset management and acquisitions for a Denver based real estate private equity firm where he managed a $250M portfolio of industrial, retail, and commercial assets throughout the United States among other assets including self storage, multifamily, and senior living facilities.

Colson received his BA in Economics & Business from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia where played varsity lacrosse, served as the Chairman of the student-led investment club, and helped craft real estate centric course offerings that persist to this day. Colson currently resides in Denver, Colorado and enjoys skiing, climbing, and mountaineering in his free time.​

Cole holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin as well as a Master’s in Finance from West Texas A&M University. Mr. Bekarian also holds a Certificate of Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investment from MIT. Cole has been in the multifamily industry for 10 years including being a licensed Texas realtor, Class A property management, Multifamily investment sales, and Asset Management on the equity side. His Asset Management experience includes financial analysis and management of multi-family assets, reviewing operating plans and budgets, and leading a financial reporting and analytics team overseeing $2B in commercial assets under management.

A 35-year veteran of the hospitality industry, during which Charlie has owned, designed, built and operated restaurants and commercial kitchens, managing up to 120 team members, across multiple units. He has overseen several multi-million-dollar renovations in Hotels, Casinos, and Clubs in London, Dubai, Australia and USA. Charlie leverages his expertise and deep knowledge of asset management, operations and revenue generation from hotels into the multifamily world, helping enhance the tenant experience while increasing bottom line profits.

Kyle has a background as an investment consultant and multifamily investor, located in the greater Seattle area. As a consultant Kyle is part of a team that manages over $500M of institutional assets, including mutual funds, stocks, REIT’s, DST’s and other vehicles. He specializes in working with businesses and institutions to manage large portfolios and provide strategic consulting for operational success. 

Kyle's work with EAM will include creating growth strategies, strategic partnerships, financial oversight and client consulting.
